Persona

I was born in November 1, 1989 and my name is Leontius Adhika Pradhana. Presently I am a citizen of Jakarta, Indonesia, studying in Canisius College High School. I once studied in Regina Pacis Jakarta for the elementary.

Programming is a lot of fun to me, especially in the aspect of software engineering, not computer science (if you know what I mean). I have a great interest in making computer games (but hey, I never made a great one, so what gives?).

I am also able to do some web development; I guess if you are proficient in a programming language then you can move easily to the realm of the web. My framework of choice is Drupal and this blog is also powered by it.

I am confident in writing in these programming languages: Pascal, C, C++, PHP, Javascript, and Python. Once, the original BASIC (those white-in-blue text…), Visual Basic, and Java (only a bit) belong to this category but time went so quickly I forgot to code in them. I can also use HTML/XHTML, CSS, and SQL, but those are usually not counted as real programming languages. (“confident” obviously does not mean that I can code everything you dictate without looking at references!)

• First Winner of Kompetisi Pemrograman Universitas Parahyangan V 2005 (no offense, but too bad the committee is too stupid that no certificate was given!)
• Bronze Medalist of Bina Nusantara Programming Contest 2006
• Cum Laude GPA Award, first semester 2006
• Top 16 Indonesian Computer Olympiad Team (Tim Olipiade Komputer Indonesia) 2007
• First Winner of a computer competition held by BHK in 2007 but I forgot the name :(
• First Winner of CompWeek 2007, a computer competition by Universitas Indonesia

Other experiences I consider not an achievement yet:

• Leaflet designer for Canisius Fair 2005
• Tutor of Canicomp Contest Division 2006-2007 (half the year)
• Head of Canicomp Web Development Division 2006-2007 (the other half ;) )
• Organizational participations, e.g. decor committee of Canisius Art Blast (2005 or 2006?) and Canisius Education Fair (2005 or 2006?); publication committee of Canisius College Competition 2008.
